Year 8 Abbey School students had the fantastic opportunity of designing a school of the future during their Enterprise Day workshop.
The day was an amazing success with an enormous assistance from architect Ian Brampton and 6th form students who volunteered their time to help the younger students.
Teams competed against one another for creativity, team work, risk taking and overall successful design concept. The first place award went to Liberty Case, Siobhan Harman, Abigail Allen, Charlotte Campbell and Chloe Pelling for their winning concept of a school called 'St Mount' which divided their school in mini schools of learning with open plan working areas. |
